Dr. Paul Sarmiento is a board certified family and obesity medicine specialist. He trained at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and the Mayo Clinic here in Arizona. He has been a practicing physician since 2008 and has focused entirely on obesity medicine for several years.

Dr. Sarmiento is an ABOM diplomate and received the candidate of the year award by the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2016. He has since joined the Maintenance of Certification Committee to help obesity medicine specialists stay up to date.

Above all, Dr. Sarmiento believes that food and nutrition can get us healthy and keep us healthy.
